This page explains the insurance coverage, deposit rules, and liability conditions for all car rentals with RentalCar Tbilisi.

Security Deposit Policy

To confirm a booking:

   . Valid personal details are required

   . Prepayment or deposit may be required depending on vehicle type

   . Prices are confirmed at the time of booking

We recommend booking in advance during peak tourist seasons in Georgia.

Cancellation Policy

A security deposit is required for all rentals.

   . Deposit amount depends on the vehicle type

   . Deposit is paid at pick-up

   . Deposit is fully refundable after inspection if no violations or damages are found

The deposit may be used in case of:

   . Traffic fines

   . Vehicle damage

   . Missing fuel (if applicable)

CASCO Insurance

   . Sum Insured: Vehicle Full Value

   . Deductible (Franchise): 0% in practice

   . Applies based on accident responsibility and conditions

Third Party Liability (MTPL)

   . Insurance Limit: USD 10,000

   . Deductible: Zero

Driver & Passenger Accident Insurance

   . Insurance Limit: USD 20,000

   . Deductible: Zero 

What Insurance Does NOT Cover

Insurance does NOT cover:

   . Tire damage (punctures or cuts)

   . Suspension or undercarriage damage

   . Damage caused by reckless or prohibited driving

Damage & Responsibility

The renter is responsible for:

   . Traffic violations and fines

   . Damage caused during rental period

   . Loss of keys or documents

All incidents must be reported immediately to our support team.

Roadside Assistance & Replacement

If a vehicle issue occurs not caused by the renter:

   . We provide fast roadside assistance or repair

   . If repair is not possible, we replace the vehicle with a similar category car as quickly as possible

In major cities, towing support may be provided free of charge depending on insurance conditions.

Parking & Fines Policy

   . Traffic fines are fully paid by the renter

   . Police impound or paid parking costs are NOT covered by insurance

All such charges are the renter’s responsibility

Damage Responsibility

The renter is responsible for:

   . Damage caused during rental period

   . Violations of traffic law

   . Misuse of the vehicle

All incidents must be reported immediately.
